  • We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured.
  • Certified Commercial Dog Walkers by San Francisco's Animal Care Control (ACC).
  • We are First Aid and CPR trained for both dogs, cats and humans.
  • Our team not only loves animals, but we are also educated, licensed, compassionate and active.
  • Lucky Dog understands the value of exercise mixed with socialization. Exercise can ward of depression and weight gain. It can improve your dogs confidence by lowering anxiety, just like humans. Did you know that regular exercise can help curb bad behaviors like chewing, jumping, barking or any other hyperactive behavior.
  • We follow the laws and guidelines for the city of San Francisco and SF Animal Care Control (ACC) which requires that a dog walker must be commercially licensed through the ACC if  walking more than 3 dogs at a time. A 20-40 hour course must be taken with hands on training. A walker cannot have more 8 dogs at a time. Every dog must have current license and up to date rabies tag to avoid possible impoundment of your dog. An ID tag and microchip is also strongly recommended. All Commercial dog walkers must have proof of $1 million general liability insurance. All dog walkers must clean up after any dogs he or she is walking and properly dispose of waste. A first aid kit and water supply is always readily available.
  • We have no breed restrictions because we know dogs don't fall into categories. Every dog is unique just like us.
  • We work on rainy days. If there is a state warning for strong winds, extreme heat or heavy rain advisories we may change the location, shorten the time or if dangerous conditions arise we may cancel walks to keep your pet and our walkers safe.
  • Our focus is both on your dogs physical and mental health.
  • We screen all our dogs for safety and compatibility before joining groups walks.
  • Positive reinforcement is always used in our groups, R+ focused. We give affection, treats and various sounds as training methods.
  • Lucky Dog does not use prong collars, shock collars or any aggressive force.
  • We specialize in customizing and ensuring the best exercise and attention needs for your dog. Our pricing varies based off the group and any other added specialized service if needed.
  • Pet sitting is available in the comfort of your own home.
